Cartagena was founded 1533 by Spanish conquistador Don Pedro de Heredia, becoming one of the most important Spanish ports of America. Today is one of the main touristic spots of Colombia, of the Caribbean and the World. This city, considered one of the nicest in the world, is surrounded of walls and narrow streets with Spanish colonial houses, which also have beautiful balconies for you to enjoy the Cartagenean views.

The walled city was declared the “Historical Patrimony of Humanity” by UNESCO in 1986.

The Hostel that Cartagena was needing!

Take note that the Superior Double rooms have air conditionning and are situated in the Hostel, whereas the Standard Double and Single rooms have a fan and cable TV and are situated in an annex at 30 metres from the main entrance.

Remember not to confuse our Hostel with the “HOTEL El Viajero” (also in downtown). We are “El Viajero Hostels” and we are located in the sreet Siete Infantes (tell the taxi driver the name of the street not to get confuse with the HOTEL with the same name).
